Throughout my life, I’ve spent a significant amount of time in the dentist’s chair and have generally been able to handle most procedures without issue. However, the thought of having a tooth extracted fills me with anxiety. To help with this, my dentist has begun prescribing me 0.25 mg of Triazolam an hour before the extraction. This has had a profound effect on my experience. Extract a tooth? No problem! In fact, take them all! I feel completely at ease, which simplifies the procedure for both myself and the dentist. I haven’t noticed any side effects, and I can recall everything up until the moment I fall asleep once I get home. It’s crucial to arrange for transportation, as I’m definitely not fit to drive after taking this medication. In my opinion, this is one of the best advancements for managing stress during dental procedures. My prescription is always for two pills – one to take an hour before the procedure and another to take once I get home. I can understand why – it would be quite easy to become dependent on this medication, given how much I appreciate its effects.
