    This medication was effective in reducing and maintaining the size of my GIST tumors for a year. However, the progression resumed thereafter. The drug had a severe impact on me. It caused fatigue, hand/foot issues, acne, and did I mention fatigue? I experienced some hair loss and a drastic weight loss of 30 lbs almost overnight. It also resulted in diarrhea and abdominal discomfort.
