I have been using Saxenda for 4 months now and am impressed with the results. Already lost 9 kg! Yes, I was a bit nauseous at first, but that has subsided. Would recommend it!
My overall experience with Saxenda has been positive, but with some reservations. Since starting the treatment, I have steadily lost weight, in total about 10% of my initial weight in six months. However, the process has not been without its challenges; the daily injections require a certain routine and discipline, and the side effects, particularly nausea and occasional digestive problems, were noticeable in the first few weeks. Nevertheless, the improvement in my overall wellbeing and health indicators outweighed these disadvantages. Due to the cost and the need for careful self-management, I would recommend Saxenda to individuals who are seriously committed to tackling their weight management.
I really wanted to give Saxenda a chance, but after two months I gave up. The side effects were too intense for me and I had higher expectations for the high price. I only lost 3 pounds and found the daily injections just annoying. Maybe it works for others, but I am now looking for alternative methods.
As someone who has struggled with obesity for a long time, Saxenda was a ray of hope for me. Yes, there are side effects, and yes, it is expensive, but the results speak for themselves. I have lost 13 kg in four months and feel more energized and healthier than I have in years. The best part is that the changes in my appetite and satiety have also improved my eating habits. Saxenda has been a tool for me that has not only helped with weight loss, but also with maintaining a healthier lifestyle. I am grateful that I took this step and would definitely recommend it to others, especially when other methods have failed.
Hello everyone
I started the program in 2023 and lost nearly 16 kilos (age 47, 80-> 64, without today at 62Kg).
I stopped after nearly 7 months. I only had mild side effects, but I knew from the start that it wasn’t a permanent solution. The injection only accompanied me on my way to acquiring new, healthy habits and then keeping them. Even after I stopped taking the product, my weight continued to go down – more slowly, but that’s good and right. In addition to nutrition, muscle training is also very important, especially for us women, because that’s where the energy is needed – so it’s very simple and you just have to do it and do it, so the transition with the injection as support is very valuable.
Injecting yourself with the stuff permanently is definitely not a solution from my point of view and if you take it without having a plan, you will have already lost the first few kilos that tumble off. If you don’t change your lifestyle, this injection won’t solve anything for you in the long term.
I wish everyone who has decided to take this route every success and that everyone has a plan for what to do after the treatment (i.e. without injections).
Does anyone know if there is a connection with breast cancer?
I have been on (artificial) menopause since falling ill. And since I started Saxenda injections (after 6 days) my period started again.
This actually worries me.
I had good results with Saxenda for the first few weeks. Unfortunately, after a few weeks the effect diminished considerably, despite 3 mg per day. In the end, it simply became too expensive. At 3 mg per day you need a lot per month. I then stopped taking it and all the kilos I had previously lost were back up again after 2-3 weeks despite maintaining the same diet.
With this in mind, save money and implement diet and exercise. Saxenda brings success, but unfortunately only as long as you take it
Saxenda is a terrible medication that, in my opinion, should be removed from sale. It has not only caused me heart issues due to its interference with the heart’s electrical system, but I’ve also developed AMD, which can lead to loss of vision. Saxenda has the potential to alter genes. AMD is typically a genetic condition, yet no one in my family, on either side, has or has even heard of it. If anyone else is diagnosed with AMD, please post a review to inform others.
