I have been taking losartan for three months, 25mg in the morning and 25mg in the evening. With untreated blood pressure values of 150/90, I am now often below 120/80. The side effects are minor, sometimes a slight palpitation in the morning about an hour after taking the tablets. Overall, I feel much calmer and more relaxed.
Lorsartan improved my blood pressure, but I had many side effects. My blood pressure dropped to as low as 98/84 with a heart rate of 130. I felt dizzy and so tired that all I wanted to do was sleep. I had diarrhea at least once a week. I coughed a lot and it got worse and worse. I had foot and leg cramps. I felt terrible. Since stopping the medication and improving my diet, I have been much better and my symptoms have disappeared. My blood pressure is under control even without this medication. This medication was not good for me.
I haven’t experienced any significant side effects and I’m content with using the medication. The clinic I visit annually has been satisfied with my blood pressure measurements since I began going there. I recently had my blood, urine, and ECG tests done. All my results were fine, except for my blood sugar levels, which I’m having investigated this week.
