I am now taking esomeprazole for the 3rd time, again and again with side effects such as inner restlessness, insomnia, pain in my joints and, last but not least, acoustic hallucinations.
I am really shocked that such a “simple” medication can cause such side effects.
Not to mention that the heartburn was made worse by taking it instead of getting better. I was originally given the medication because I couldn’t tolerate pantoprazole and omeprazole. But that seems to be due to the group of active ingredients. Personally, I can only advise against it.
I take Esomeprazole because I have holes in my stomach and therefore heartburn. Shortly after taking it, I experienced severe side effects such as visual disturbances, dizziness, dizziness, morning diarrhoea, stabbing headaches and discomfort. I have another appointment with my GP today to discuss what alternatives there are and how best to stop taking the medication. I can recommend esomeprazole for severe heartburn over a short period of time, but not over a longer period of time, as the side-effects extremely restrict the quality of life.
Ah, what a relief! This medication for heartburn is top-notch. It’s easy to swallow, has no side effects, and effectively eliminates the burning sensation! It’s the best heartburn medication I’ve ever used.
