I took clomifene for two months and am now pregnant! Had minimal side effects. Absolute recommendation from me.
After a year of unsuccessful attempts to get pregnant, my doctor prescribed me clomiphene. The first round of treatment was challenging, mainly because of the hot flushes and mood swings I was experiencing. But by the third cycle, I was able to test positive for pregnancy. Despite the side effects, it was worth the experience. It’s important to work closely with your doctor and not get discouraged.
I took clomiphene for six months, unfortunately without success. The side effects such as headaches and nausea were difficult for me to bear. Although I know it has worked for many others, it was unfortunately not the right solution in my case.
After trying for a long time, clomiphene finally gave us hope. After the first treatment cycle, I could already feel the changes in my body. Yes, there were some mild side effects such as tiredness and slight mood swings, but nothing that couldn’t be managed. And the good news came sooner than expected: positive pregnancy test after only two cycles! For anyone who is on their way to parenthood, I would like to say: don’t lose hope and explore your options. Clomiphene could be the key for you too.
I’m 35 years old and my husband and I have been trying to conceive for nearly three years. We didn’t seek medical advice until we suspected there might be an issue. However, the doctors couldn’t identify any problems with either of us, which left us feeling somewhat adrift. I was prescribed Clomid (also known as clomiphene) and I’m currently in my third month of taking it. I’ve experienced all the side effects mentioned on the warning label, with hot flashes being the most severe, followed by unpredictable mood swings. I’ve never been particularly moody during my previous menstrual cycles, so this has been particularly challenging for me. I can confirm that the medication is working as I am ovulating, but so far, conception has not occurred. It’s important to note that the purpose of this drug is to induce ovulation, not to guarantee pregnancy, so in that respect, it’s doing its job. Everyone’s reaction to the medication will be different. Be prepared for hot flashes, but overall, it’s worth trying if it aids in conception.
