Strong, strong stomach cramps! Take something else if you can.
Day 1 as I took tablet 1 hour later nausea, stomach cramps on day 2 heart arrhythmia and very strong restlessness! I will never take this stuff again and not the 3 tablet either!
I probably caught clamydia and have conjunctivitis at the same time.I would never have taken this medication as tablets. My ophthalmologist prescribed Infectoazit with azithromycin and I was supposed to take it.I thought what could happen, it’s only eye drops so I put it in my eye. That’s how stupid a man can be sometimes. After about 20 minutes it started.Dizziness, drowsiness, confusion, then I got totally tired and slept for 6 hours straight, which lasted until the next day. Even today, 10 days later, I could only sleep and still feel like I’m out of my depth. one day later I also had an irregular heartbeat and heart rhythm disturbances, which is why I went to the emergency room. a cardiologist explained to me that this medication probably stays in the body for up to 15 days and then the heart rhythm disturbances would subside. now I can only hope that he is right. since yesterday I have had red pustules on my wrist and forearm that itch from time to time. i wish I had discovered this page earlier and never taken these eye drops.
Extreme dizziness, 1 week after the last dose still disgusting taste in the mouth
The 3-day therapy was a complete success. I’ve never had angina my whole life (I’m 34 years old!)! But now the time had come and it was so bad that I almost cried every time I swallowed or talked. At first I tried to counteract it with home remedies and homeopathic products. Absolutely unsuccessful, after 3 sleepless nights my doctor then prescribed me the antibiotic. Best decision ever. My condition improved in no time at all after just the 1st tablet. I still have NO side effects. I tolerated the medication very well and therefore have nothing negative to say.
Had a purulent tonsillitis. Was supposed to take it for 7 days. I stopped taking it after 5 days.
One hour after taking it, severe abdominal pain. Then watery diarrhoea. Got colitis and am now in hospital. I have no strength at all, shaky, chills. This stuff is a nightmare.
Unfortunately, the emergency doctor forced me to take it, although I have Crohn’s disease and many other illnesses and intolerances to antibiotics and told him which ones I can tolerate, because I was desperate due to severe pain and severe swelling in my nose and greenish-yellow snot and fever in sinusitis. Diarrhoea from the third tablet but some effect. Supposedly well tolerated and at least 6 days after-effect. The very next day after the last tablet, no more effect and setback. Completely pointless that I took it. Now another antibiotic and I feel very bad. I hope I can manage without going to hospital. It’s unbelievable that you’re at the mercy of doctors like this. Never again!
I think that was by far the worst antibiotic I have ever taken.
The doctor had prescribed it for me because I had had an infection for weeks and then only antibiotics could/should help.
I had the 500 with only two tablets.
I took the tablet straight away.
As soon as I got home, I had a stabbing headache… thought okay well maybe it’s not so bad and suddenly I couldn’t make it to the toilet because I immediately started vomiting until I couldn’t go any more, my parents had to drive me to hospital because I couldn’t hold anything in anymore, where I then had to stay for two days because I was feeling so bad.
I followed the doctor’s instructions and took the prescribed medication, but it didn’t seem to completely resolve my issue. I believe a higher dosage of 500mg or 600mg might have been more effective. I was prescribed a 250mg dosage for 5 days, yet I still experienced a slight sore throat and earache afterwards.
